The gents living on the ground floor of a student house in Oostzeedijk are making optimum use of the lovely weather.

A nice piece of furniture can be constructed out of a few cushions placed against a façade.

“The sofas didn’t fit inside, but we do like them here,” said one of the residents.

Outdoors is also a good place to get some studying done.

Since cafés and their outdoor seating areas are closed, the residents of this house chose to enjoy their beers on the pavement.

Just to make the situation clear for others, these students wrote ‘housemates!’ on the façade. “It’s been up there for a year now, it does get the message across!”

The Kralingse Plas attracted a huge crowd, with large groups of students who briefly seemed to forget that there’s a pandemic going on.

Elsewhere on the banks of the Kralingse Plas, there was enough room to enjoy the weather in a more socially distanced manner.
