Hans van den Berg spends his working hours in front of his desk, which is situated under an attic window. “I like working here, because I have a nice amount of light here,” he says in his vlog. “And when I open the window, I get a little bit of a breeze.”

Generally speaking, the combination of working and taking care of his daughter is all right for René Karens, but every once in a while, accidents will happen. “Sometimes my daughter will have to go potty just when I’m in a meeting,” says René. “So, yeah, in situations like that, shit literally happens.”

Lecturer and researcher Ana Uribe Sandoval doesn’t have a designated workplace at home. “I teach online classes from various rooms in my house,” she tells us. “My home office is mobile.”

A good start of the day is important. “And for me, it means a good breakfast”, says Pinar Coskun. She then dresses nicely. “No slobber sweater! I don’t dress up thinking ‘I’m home and I don’t see anyone anyway’. Well, who knows, maybe today a nice postman rings the doorbell,” she jokes.
