Are the ties between this university and the fossil fuel industry justified?
Controversial research by the Rotterdam School of Management, paid for by fossil fuel company Shell, turned out to be the scientific basis for a controversial political decision to abolish dividend tax for shareholders of, amongst other companies, Shell.
Ties between Erasmus University and especially Shell seem to be very close. Reporter Shreya Somani investigates if students think it is justified for universities to still have ties with the fossil fuel industry.
