Last weekend, Halloween provided enough parties. So this week, three tips for a cultural weekend. I hear you thinking: ‘Not more culture.’ But these three ‘small’ exhibitions are more than worth a visit.

Until the end of February, the Kunsthal is showing the exhibition ‘Red Wealth’, about design in the Soviet Union from 1950 to 1980. During the second half of the twentieth century, Russia gradually became familiar with the products of the capitalist world. Instead of importing them, the Russians copied them, but in their own unique design. So expect gorgeous radios with red stars.
The Netherlands photo museum is focusing on the most famous Dutch photographer of the last century: Horst P. Horst. As one of the first fashion photographers, he did photo shoots for Coco Chanel among others. Horst also worked with Salvador Dali and took amazing photos of Marlene Dietrich.

In museum Boijmans van Beuningen, there are politically incorrect paintings from the sixteenth century. This century was one of brothels, quack doctors and notorious morals. The exhibition ‘From Bosch to Bruegel’ provides a humoristic look at the everyday practices in the Middle Ages.
A tip for the partygoer: 2manydj’s are in Annabel on Friday. On Saturday, the roguish twins Doppelgang and Idelette will be playing hot tunes in BAR.
