Get extra steps in for your exams: Kralingse Zoom entrance closed from June due to construction work
The entrance on the north-eastern side of the Woudestein campus will be closed for months. From 15 June to 10 November you will no longer be able to enter the campus from the side of Kralingse Zoom metro station. The closure is necessary due to the installation of an energy system for the Tinbergen building.

Pedestrians and cyclists who want to enter the campus from the metro station side after 15 June can do so via the entrance at Erasmus Plaza or at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Especially for students with an exam it will be a bit of a detour. They can then go via Erasmus Plaza, past the E building and the pond by the University Library to the entrance of the Exam Centre.
In preparation for the installation of the heat – cold system, drilling work in Park Noord will already begin from 20 April. In total four holes must be drilled there, no less than 200 metres deep. Real Estate & Facilities expects that this first phase of work will cause little disruption.

On a large part of the north side of the Woudestein campus there is currently little going on for regular students and staff. Buildings F and G have recently been heavily boarded up, after the F building was broken into and boilers and taps were stolen. They will be demolished soon. The Tinbergen building is expected to reopen in mid 2027.
