EM TV: How Alisa from Ukraine takes pictures in the Netherlands about the war

How do you capture as a journalist, or in this case a photographer, a topic that deeply affects you personally? Alisa is a photographer. She is from Ukraine, works for EM and took pictures of demonstrations against the war in her home country.

Third-year Communication student Alisa Mahaletska can’t really comprehend it yet. Her homeland is under attack. In this interview, she talks about how capturing demonstrations in the Netherlands helps and also how her photos differ from Dutch photographers. And why is it important to her to write Kyiv instead of Kiev?

EM TV is back for a new season. Every two weeks there will be a new episode of the Youtube-programme of Erasmus Magazine, with news and always a guest or editor talking about an important story EM is working on. There will also be a video report about student life, something that happens on campus or other current events.
