Video: Plogging on the ‘World Cleanup Day’
For the participants of this event, the committee had two options: jogging or walking while collecting litter at the same time. “We had a morning and an afternoon session. In total, around 75 people participated, that was more than expected,” says Max Dörr from Post Plastic Generation with a big smile.
At the end of the day they collected more than fifty shopping bags full of litter. “We’ll deliver the hard plastics to the university’s ‘Wasted Recycling’ to be used in their project while the remaining trash are disposed into the containers of the municipality of Rotterdam,” says Dörr.
