Why did you choose this programme?
“I want to be able to help people. I also chose Medicine because I’m very interested in the human body.”
Why did you choose EUR?
“That was actually an easy choice. EUR is held in high regard and Rotterdam is an attractive and fun city.”
Are you planning to live in rented accommodations?
“Yes!“ Commuting from Breskens to Rotterdam takes three hours. I would have to make part of the journey to the campus by boat.”
What are your expectations for your first year at EUR?
“That I’ll have to be much more independent. In secondary school they tell you exactly what to do. It’s different when you’re attending a university. That’s the academic part of the first year, but I expect to experience a lot of things outside of the classroom. With both old and new friends.”
What are your good – or maybe not so good – resolutions for the first year of your studies?
“I heard it would be really useful to join a study association, so I will be doing just that. I believe it’s important to put in the effort for my studies, but at the same time I don’t want to overdo it because I want to have fun too!”
