The big dilemma: joy or jealousy towards Belgium at the World Cup?
Newsflash: The Netherlands does not participate in the World Cup in Russia. Neighboring Belgium on the other hand does, and according to the experts, even belongs to the favorites. The Red Devils played their first game against Panama on Monday evening.
Many Dutch people say they are cheering for Belgium, how about EUR students? And do they really want Belgium to win the world cup before the Netherlands, or are there limits to their loyalty towards our southern neighbors? Reporter Cameron Wylie spoke to Dutch and Flemish EUR students in the run-up to the match against Panama.
