Saving bees, one dance at a time

Using pitchforks, rakes, shovels, watering cans and their best dancing moves (yes really!), the students made sure that seeds of different flowers and plants were spread in the area between campus and the Abram van Rijckevorselweg.
Not only should this become a beautiful sight to walk by on your way to class, these plants will specifically support pollinating insects such as bees. Bees aren’t just for stinging, instead they are crucial to the ecosystem. The numbers of bees are drastically dropping every year.
