EUR professor appointed as formation scout in Rotterdam

Professor Derk Loorbach has been appointed as one of the two scouts on a newly formed advisory board in Rotterdam. He will be fulfilling this role together with former Ahoy Rotterdam Director Jos van der Vegt.

Loorbach is the Director of Drift, an EUR-affiliated research institute that focuses on sustainability transitions. Together with Van der Vegt, he will be studying over the next few weeks which executive coalitions could be formed in Rotterdam’s new Municipal Council.
The Professor has tweeted that he feels ‘proud and honoured’ that he has ‘been asked to examine how the city could be governed over the next few years’.
