Süheyl and Tevfik want to inspire others with their nomination for Student of the Year
Süheyl* (24) and Tevfik* (26) share a nomination for their efforts to victims of the earthquake in Turkey. Together with a group of Dutch healthcare providers they flew to the disaster areas in Turkey to provide medical aid for the people affected by the earthquake. They managed to raise more than 50,000 euros for the people in need.
Their dedication to helping those affected by the disaster has earned them a nomination for the Student of the Year 2023 award. The nomination surprised the two students. “ I’m not really into these kinds of awards, to be honest. We’re not at all interested in being in the spotlights, but perhaps we can inspire people to do something themselves”, Tefvik said.
Learn about their story in the video above.
