Thursday in EM TV: New sports building under construction to solve long waiting lists at sports associations
Due to a record number of registrations, student sports associations in Rotterdam have to deal with long waiting lists, selection by drawing lots and playing sports until late in the evening. Guests in the studio are Donna Smits, chairman of Erasmus Volley, and Luca Neefjes, chairman of tennis club Passing Shot. What will the opening of the new sports building, which provides the clubs with competition and training facilities and a fitness area, mean for them? Jon de Ruijter, director of Erasmus Sport, is virtually present and gives an update on the sports complex under construction.
