Longer travel times to Woudestein campus due to metro maintenance work
Because of maintenance work on the metro tracks, no metros run between the Beurs and Voorschoterlaan stations from Friday 17 April to Monday 4 May.

Passengers are asking for more information about the closed metro stations.

Do you travel to Woudestein by metro every day? Work on the metro tracks will make it harder to travel to and from the campus over the next two weeks. This mainly affects students and staff who travel via the city centre.
To ease congestion, RET will run an extra shuttle tram. This tram (line 18) will run between Rotterdam Centraal and Burgemeester Oudlaan. Along the way, it will stop near the Blaak, Oostplein and Gerdesiaweg metro stations. These busy stations will remain closed during the works. The tram will also stop at the university stop on the Woudestein campus.
Tram lines 1, 7 and 11 will continue to operate according to their normal timetables.
Split up
Metro lines A, B and C will be split during the works. Metros from Hoek van Holland (B) and De Akkers (C) will stop at Beurs. Lines from Binnenhof (A), Nesselande (B) and De Terp (C) will not go beyond Voorschoterlaan. These metros will still stop at the Kralingse Zoom metro station.
In addition, all three metro lines will run an adjusted timetable because of the May holiday. Students and employees can expect an extra travel time of approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
