Call: How does US policy affect Dutch science?
What do Dutch academics notice about the measures taken by the Trump administration towards academia? The Hoger Onderwijs Persbureau (HOP, Higher Education Press Bureau) to which Erasmus Magazine is also affiliated, and journalistic platforms Investico and NU.nl want to use a questionnaire to investigate the impact of US science policy on Dutch academia.

Datasets disappear, funding is stopped, American colleagues no longer dare to speak on the phone… There are many stories going around about the impact of the new US science policy.
Investigative journalists from Investico (for De Groene Amsterdammer), NU.nl and HOP are jointly investigating the concrete consequences of the US policy for Dutch scientists. Are you helping?
We are trying to map out as best we can how US policy affects Dutch science. Do you work in academia, and would you like to help us by completing a short questionnaire (5 minutes)?
KNAW supports the survey
Recently, the KNAW posed similar questions to its members. The KNAW supports this journalistic survey, they announced via their Linkedin.
The questionnaire is in English, but open questions can also be answered in Dutch. Your details are only requested for verification, they will never be used in a publication without your prior consent.
The results of the survey will also be published by Erasmus Magazine.
Addition:
This call drew some 200 responses last week, the Hoger Onderwijs Persbureau (Higher Education Press Bureau) informs. More responses are needed to get a proper and complete picture, so the survey will remain open even longer.
