Students happy with end of disposable cups at coffee corners
Disposable cups will be discontinued on January 1, 2024, from all coffee machines as well as the Vitam coffee corners. Students are generally positive about the change.
Most of the students don’t know about the new policy yet, but they are generally positive about the change. “I think it’s a good idea with sustainability and everything. It’s a bit annoying if you’ve maybe forgotten your cup, so hopefully there’s gonna be somewhere you can get reusable cups.”
Students who already own their reusable cups gave tips what kinds are the best to purchase. “I would get something that keeps heat,” said one student. Another emphasised the ability for it to close completely and not leak.
