New president Weehuizen is currently a board member at the Association of Students of African Heritage (ASAH) and sits in the programme committee of her Sociology studies at Erasmus University. Julia van der Haring (also 23) will be a general board member. She is also studying Political science, but at Radboud University Nijmegen. This year, she worked at the union’s secretariat and was active for the PvdA’s youth organisation, the Young Socialists.
