Nominate a student for the Student of the Year election

Submit your nomination for Student of the Year now! Studium Generale and Erasmus Magazine are looking for students who have gone out of their way to help others. The nomination round is open until 10 April. The winner will be announced on 31 May.

Do you know a student who is always there for everyone? Or someone who has achieved something remarkable within the study, outside the study, in the student association community or anywhere else in this world? If the student’s efforts are selfless and in the interests of society, you can reward them with a nomination for Student of the Year.

Is there a student who always offers a listening ear within your association? Someone who brought groceries when the whole student house was ill? Maybe you know a student who is dedicated to combat climate change, to prevent loneliness, to help people in poverty or something completely different. What someone is dedicated to doesn’t matter. You can nominate one student, not a group.

What's next?

Who will succeed Sandra Garstka as Student of the Year? We will know the answer to that question after the live show on 31 May. After the nomination round closes, a jury consisting of staff and students will look at the entries. This year’s jury consists of:

They will select the five students who will go through to the public round. On 4 May, the online voting boxes will open. These votes are one-third of final election result. The jury vote counts for one third and the votes in the Pavilion on 31 May also count for one third.

What can be won?

In addition to eternal glory, the Student of the Year will receive a cash prize and a trophy.
