Thursday in EM TV: Medical Student of the Year Award

One of our guests is the finalist Yara Dixon. She will tell about her heavy menstrual blood loss project and about why she thinks the stigma on the subject should disappear. The project Geneeskundestudenten in de Samenleving (Medical Students Engaging in Society, or GIDS) has also reached the finals. Thomas Pereira Horta of GIDS explains how the project connects medical students with social projects, ranging from providing vaccine information to reading to children with a language deficiency.

The broadcast of EM TV starts Thursday morning at 9 o’clock and will be broadcasted live from the Polak building.

You can watch EM TV every fortnight on Youtube, Facebook and on this site, live from the TV studio in Polak. News, background stories, human interest, we keep you informed about everything that happens at Erasmus University. Every fortnight, on Thursdays at 9.00 am, the show goes live and afterwards it can be seen on the website. Presentation by Tessa Hofland and Feba Sukmana.
