Online cooking competition to combat food waste
“The purpose of this cooking competition is to create awareness about food waste,” says Tsania Hisbaron of the Erasmus Sustainability Hub. “That’s why we use old products from the supermarket that would otherwise be thrown away.”
Since the competition was organised digitally, the juries did not judge the taste of the dishes. Only presentation and sustainability counted in the assessment.
