Erasmus University has over a hundred student organisations: sports, social, cultural or entrepreneurship associations run by and aimed at students who want to do something extra. Some thirty of these associations participate in the Student Association Week, which starts on Tuesday.

Every afternoon between 4 and 6 pm a number of associations will give a short presentation via Zoom and there will be time to ask questions. In the evening there will be an online networking event and a pub quiz. The week is organised by StayRotterdam, the platform for social student activities that originated from the corona crisis.

Talkshow about science

Studio Erasmus, the monthly talkshow about science and research, will be live again. The past few editions had to be transformed into podcasts, but on Tuesday evening 15 September academics will once again be sitting at the stage in Theater Rotterdam. Guests include philosopher Ruud Welten and developmental psychologist Eveline Crone. The programme is in Dutch and starts at 8.30 pm.

On the agenda | In this weekly feature, EM will list all the events being organised that week for EUR students or staff. If you want your open-to-everyone party, lecture or event to be featured here, please shoot an email to [email protected].
