Live music jam on Zoom and watch a film at the Paviljoen
The traditional Open Stage Nights have been called off due to the COVID-19 crisis. Instead, organiser Studium Generale (SG) has been offering an online alternative: Music Monday.

The first Music Mondays were hosted on Instagram and featured short clips of different students playing music. In today’s instalment, the folks at Studium Generale will be taking a slightly different approach: an interactive – i.e. live! – Zoom jam session. You’re welcome to join in, be it as a musician or an audience member. Don’t forget to register beforehand, though.
Do you miss watching films on campus? This Wednesday, you’ll have a fresh chance to do so when SG screens the film Peanut Butter Falcon at the Erasmus Pavilion. This feel-good road movie starts with Zak, a young man with Down’s syndrome who escapes from an assisted living facility to become a professional wrestler. To realise his dream, he has to travel to the wrestling school of The Salt Water Redneck. Through a twist of fate, Zak teams up with Tyler, a small-time thief who is on the run.
On the agenda | In this weekly feature, EM will list all the events being organised that week for EUR students or staff. If you want your open-to-everyone party, lecture or event to be featured here, please shoot an email to [email protected].
