Polak Building to re-open in late March
The university has announced in a press release that students, members of staff and shop owners will be able to return to the Polak Building in late March. That is, if the reconstruction work proceeds according to plan. In late 2017, EUR indicated that no one would be allowed inside the building any time soon because the university was unable to guarantee that the building was safe.

On Monday, construction workers began reinforcing the building’s floors. The reinforcing measures are necessary because the building was closed last year due to concerns about the safety of its floor construction.
The university will provide more information on MY EUR later this week about the measures implemented to make the Polak Building safe when it re-opens.
