‘Maybe it’s smart not to vote if you don’t know anything about it’
Elections are coming up in the Netherlands. How are students feeling about them? Reporter Liz Berntsen asked around on campus to find out. Watch the video.
Next Wednesday, Dutch citizens will go out to vote for the national elections, and in the polls, a landslide is predicted. The reigning parties, the liberal VVD and the social democrats of the PvdA, are losing a lot of seats. Meanwhile, far rightwing party PVV and leftwing party GroenLinks are gaining.
