Fire at coffee machine in G Building

Firefighters rushed to the G building Tuesday afternoon around 13:00 after a small fire broke out. The fire is believed to have been caused by a coffee machine.
Two fire trucks arrived to the scene shortly after the fire was reported. Firefighters with oxygen masks were seen entering the building.
The coffee machine has been removed from the building and was extinguished outside on the sidewalk. Around 14:00 all fire in the building was out.
The building didn’t reopen on Tuesday. Students were advised to check SIN-online for more information. Teachers could find the most recent information on timetables.eur.nl. Belongings that were abandoned during the evacuation could be retrieved at the Q-building in the late afternoon.
The building is scheduled to resume ‘business as usual’ on Wednesday.
