Daughter (10) enjoys Carnival as statue of Erasmus
So how do you dress up for Carnival when you’re 10 years old, your father works at the university and you also like visiting him at his work? As a statue of Desiderius Erasmus, obviously. The costume worn by Greta (10), daughter of Stefano Puntoni (Professor of Marketing at RSM) was a hit at her school.
According to Greta, the mums and dads at her school, the Vrije School Vredehof in Kralingen, loved her costume. Her classmates were particularly impressed by the book. “Everyone wanted to touch the book”, says Greta.
Sinterklaas party
Asked what she actually thinks of Erasmus University, Greta gives an interesting answer. “I like the fact that everyone has got an office of their own”. And she loves the Sinterklaas party. When she’s older, she wants to be a professor like her father.
Greta is a big fan of Desiderius Erasmus. “He was an intelligent man and an important figure in Rotterdam. He wrote books, lots of books!”, Greta describes her idol.
