Erasmus Paviljoen: sneak preview
The new Erasmus Paviljoen opened its doors yesterday for students and employees who wanted to take a glimpse.
The progress is clear; big glass panels surround the Paviljoen and the red ‘toad’ is slowly becoming visible. In September the building will be opened and from then on everyone on campus can organize events in the Paviljoen. The center contains a multifunctional stage, which is suited for concerts, theatre performances, parties or lectures, and has space for 220 or even 350 people (without stands). In the rest of the building there will be a foyer for drinks and receptions, two meeting rooms, 60 places to study and a Grand Café, which announced its Italian menu yesterday. At the bar they will pour Heineken. TF (photos: LW)
