SG Erasmus starts ‘Brown Bag Lectures’
A lesson from a magician, the secrets of a brilliant TED-talk and a lecture about the debt crisis. Starting in September, SG Erasmus organizes weekly lunch lectures, featuring inspiring guest speakers in the Erasmus Paviljoen.
Prinsjesdag
The first lecture is the only one in Dutch, since the subject is the important political day Prinsjesdag, where the Dutch King Willem-Alexander presents the Government’s plans for the new parliamentary year.
The programme
One week later, magician and scientist Tilman Andris talks about confidence. On October the 2nd, Victor Vlam reveals the seven secrets of a brilliant TED-talk.
On 9 October, brain scientist Maarten Frens speaks about external brain stimulation, while the former head of Robeco (a Dutch asset management firm) Jaap van Duijn takes a look at the debt crisis one week later. TF
