Into the ring: Ferayed joining Naginata
Naginata is practiced every Friday evening at Erasmus Sport. This ancient Japanese martial art is named after the weapon Naginata, a wooden shaft with at the end a curved blade, originally used by the Samurai and Warrior monks of Japan.
As Ferayed will soon discover, Naginata requires focus and discipline, but you’re also allowed to hit your opponent very hard with the shaft.
