Correction EM International #1
In EM International of 24 September, we inadvertently attributed a quote on the last page of the magazine to Philosophy student Bob ter Haar.
However the quote: “A slap in the face for students and lecturers. The height of arrogance.” is by Jasper van Dijk, Socialist Member of Parliament about minister Jet Bussemaker’s views on the Maagdenhuis occupation.
Bob ter Haar’s quote about the Double Degree program of his faculty should have been:
“The large amount of Double Degree students is not the result mainly of the effort of the University but more importantly of hard work by the Faculty of Philosophy itself in setting up and promoting this amazing opportunity for students.”
