Maarten Kroeze appointed justice of Supreme Court

The Erasmus School of Law has reported that Maarten Kroeze, a Professor of Corporate Law, will join the Supreme Court’s Civil Chamber as of 1 September 2016.

From February 2009 to February 2013, Kroeze served as dean to the Erasmus School of Law. Prior to that, he served as a vice-dean, tasked with the Research portfolio, for a year and a half.
The Supreme Court of the Netherlands is the highest court in the Netherlands, having final jurisdiction in matters of civil law, criminal law and tax law.
