Study programme stereotypes: ‘We all have mental issues and that’s why we’re doing Psychology’
MISOC students are going to be jobless forever, law students are rigid and IBA students are lazy. What are stereotypes that students know about their own study? And are they true?

“People think that we all have mental issues and that’s why we’re studying Psychology.” bachelor student Ahdieh laughs. “But I haven’t been diagnosed yet”, she adds jokingly. She thinks the stereotypes comes from the openness of Psychology students: “They tend to be very loud and open about their emotions.”
IBA (Business Administration) student Nina has heard the stereotype that IBA students are lazy before: “I understand why people think that, because we don’t have any assignments”, she says while bursting into laughter. Her friend and fellow classmate Zuza adds: “Yes, we have a lot of free time compared to other students.”
