EM TV newsflash: 300k art donation, Shell cancelled, and female PhD’s experience inappropriate behaviour
Every week an overview of the most important news of the Erasmus University. This week: The university received 59 new art works with a value of 300k euros from emeritus professor and co-founder of ESHPM Ruud Lapré and his wife Marga Lapré. Amongst them are paintings of Karel Appel, Corneille and Constant.
Also, study associations are not allowed anymore to work with polluting companies. For EFR, this means the association can’t partner with Shell any longer. And 44 percent of female PhD candidates experienced inappropriate behaviour during their PhD trajectory.
