EM TV newsflash: 1,7 million for camera system, EUR alumni in cabinet, and students live at home longer

Gepubliceerd op:

Every week an overview of the most important news about the Erasmus University. This week: The new camera system on campus will cost 1.7 million euros. The system, that will monitor the campus 24/7 needs to be replaced because it’s getting old and therefore has a higher risk of failure.

Also, three EUR alumni will probably be part of the cabinet Jetten-1. Former ESL student Vincent Karremans from the VVD will likely be minister of Infrastructure and Water Management and Jo-Annes de Bat from CDA, who studied at ESSB, will probably be minister of Climate Policy and Green Growth and Nathalie van Berkel (D66), a former ESL student, is the intended state secretary for Finance. And students lived with their parents longer after the basic grant was cut, also due to high rents and housing shortage.
