A challenge at Sports & Play: students are surprisingly locked in
After a visit to Ahoy and campus yesterday, the festivities have moved to athletics club PAC Rotterdam for Sports & Play! Here, new students can get a glimpse of the various sporting activities that the university has to offer. They can try it all, from naginata to tennis and rock climbing!
But are these students capable? Reporter Saskia Electra challenges them in all kinds of contests. Surprisingly, even under the hot sun, most students were locked in and participated in the challenge enthusiastically.
Although there were extra obstacles to the challenges. “I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m super hungover right now”, said one participant. Another student was also skeptical about winning, yet she managed to win after all. “I feel great, I feel I accomplished something today,” she said, shocked at her accomplishment.
