Students on Christmas present: ‘I think socks are a weird gift’
A card or a letter, you don’t need much to make Management student Nienke happy. “It’s all about the gesture. It’s nice that someone thinks of you.” For Psychology student Melina, her first camera was special. “Because of that, I started photography.” Student Noja loves reading and her family always gives her books at Christmas. “I love finding books under the Christmas tree,” she says.
Weird gifts
Psychology student Antonella has an opinion on certain Christmas presents: “I think socks are a weird gift. I don’t understand why people give them.” Student Viktor got a ‘surprising’ present once. “My uncle gave me a rabbit when I was about 7 years old. Unfortunately, my parents didn’t want me to get a rabbit, so we had to give it back. That was really the weirdest present ever, because I only got to keep it for two days.”
