Obama makes studying cheaper
Gepubliceerd op:
American President Barack Obama wants to make higher education in the US cheaper.
He has launched the so-called ‘American Opportunity Tax Credit’. Students who apply can get a study grant of up to four thousand dollar (three thousand euro). This amount will cover two thirds of an average student’s tuition fees at a public university. In return, students will have to do one hundred hours of community service. In his inaugural speech, Obama said he plans to reform schools, colleges and universities in America.
