Onto the dance floor: Ferayed joins the Rotterdam Cheerleaders
This week reporter Ferayed participates in the regular dance training of Rotterdam Cheerleaders.
Before the warming up, the ones who show up late have to do extra exercises. When everyone is ready and warmed up, Anastasiia – who’s called Stacy by everyone – stands in front of the group to show the new choreography. No girls are thrown into the air just yet, but the moves are quite intense and they demand quite a bit from the team.
The Rotterdam Cheerleaders trains at Erasmus Sport twice a week. It’s a group of friendly, motivated and, above all, disciplined girls. They perform on various occasions and are the official cheerleading team of Feyenoord basketball. Men are not welcome during the training, but special for our reporter Ferayed, the ladies make an exception this time.
