Registration day at Eurekaweek: create your own programme in the city
Eurekaweek gets off to a quiet start on Sunday with registration on campus and an introduction to your group. There is no other programme, but if you want to let your hair down on this first day, Rotterdam fortunately has plenty to offer.
At Katendrecht, for example, you can visit the Floating Pasar, a festival celebrating Indo, Indonesian and Moluccan culture with food, a market and plenty of live music. At Keilewerf, you can visit a market selling vintage clothing and art. Or you can take a walk along Rotterdam’s street art route using a free map.
You can cool off at either end of the metro line: the beaches of Nesselande or Hoek van Holland.
