Every week an overview of the most important news about the Erasmus University. This week: the mental health app ROOM is now available in Dutch, in addition to English. The app is developed by the Erasmus University and is meant to help students reduce stress. It asks how you’re doing and provides scientifically grounded stress-reducing tips that are tailored to you.
Also, the House of Representatives wants the police to be able to share information of rioters with educational institutions. A motion about this gained a majority last week. And a British student won a court case over her student finance. Due to a major accident, she could not work the obligated 24 hours per month in order to qualify or DUO and her financing stopped. She went to court, won, and will get her missed grant money.
