EM TV newsflash: Explosion at Erasmus Sport, Lady Bits wins EURvision and union proposes to quit DGI Travel

Every week an overview of the most important news about the Erasmus University. This week: There was an explosion in the transformer room in the sports building. The blast blew open and warped a metal door and damaged the walls of the room. The building was empty at the time of the explosion. Repairs will take months.

The band Lady Bits won EURvision 2026 with the song My man went over the mountain. And DGI Travel, the travel agency that staff are obliged to use when booking business trips,  is too expensive too slow and too difficult according to trade union FNV. The union proposes that the university quits working with DGI Travel.
