EM TV newsflash: GroenLinks-PvdA wins municipal elections, student in city council and the beadle retires
Every week an overview of the most important news about the Erasmus University. This week: GroenLinks-PvdA won the municipal elections last week. Leefbaar Rotterdam came in second. Both get eleven seats in the council of Rotterdam. Law student Mina Morkoç from GroenLinks-PvdA is elected for the municipality council. The last four years, Mina was also a municipality councilor.
Also, after almost twenty years, beadle Marleen van Kester is retiring. She is the face of the academic traditions and ceremonies of the university.
