“I’m head over heels with my girlfriend”, says a student with a broad smile. They are in the same association and met two weeks ago during a group trip. “She’s very open and everyone goes to her if something’s going on”, he says.
A Brazilian first-year student is completely taken with the Dutch. “They are so friendly. They show me the way and take me everywhere with them. I was quite scared when I first arrived, but now I know the city better thanks to my new Dutch friends!”
Students are also fond of the city (‘the architecture is beautiful’), the museums (‘the Depot is fantastic’), public transport (‘it’s so easy to get everywhere with it’), the student associations (‘RSG is super cool!’) and of course the cantus. Which song is the most fun to sing along to? “The Rotterdam song, of course!”
