Erasmus Magazine (EM) is the independent journalistic platform of Erasmus University. We produce interesting, engaging, and critical stories about the university, education and science, as well as student life in Rotterdam.
We are looking for:
Reporters who can write and will cover news articles, interviews, and in-depth features about Erasmus University.
Camera operators/video editors who can independently go out with a reporter to capture a story on film and quickly produce beautiful edits for EM’s video projects.
Photographers who are not afraid to engage with fellow students on campus to create photographic reports about student life in Rotterdam and more.
We appreciate any prior experience, but it is not necessary. Journalistic ambition and enthusiasm are essential. We also expect you to be available for about 4 hours per week in the upcoming academic year 2025/2026.
What we offer:
An interesting part-time job where you can gain experience and explore whether a career in journalism is right for you. We will pay you for the work you do for EM. You will be guided in your work by professional journalists and will join a friendly, engaged, and sharp team.
Interested?
Please send your motivation, CV and relevant examples of your writing, video editing or photography to [email protected] by 1 July 2025.
Interviews will take place in early July.
