Erasmus Sport installed an ice bath and sauna behind the sports building on Monday because of the Week of Work Stress. “You have to pay attention to your breathing. You first go into the ice bath and then into the sauna for five minutes”, student Miska says.

The ice bath and sauna are good for your health, says Laurens Wielaard of Erasmus Sport. “Also for your mental health, because the heat of the sauna calms you down.”

A student sits shivering in the ice bath. “I just walked by here to see what was going on, then someone said I should try it, so I do”, he says. On a scale of 10, how relaxed does he feel? “Well, right now a three.”
