Mahika is persistent in her efforts to provide an education for children
Mahika Mohanan (20) is the initiator of the ‘Enlightening Minds and Illuminating Lives’ program which supplies students from unprivileged families in Myanmar with solar lamps.
Since coming up-close with families in Myanmar living below the poverty line, she was dedicated to the cause of giving children a chance in education.
Apart from this program she is also an active ambassador of the United World Schools (UWS) involved in assisting remote areas worldwide with education such as Myanmar and Madagascar. Her dedication and passion earned her a nomination for Student of the Year.
