EM TV: International Women’s Day, charcoal art and Students’ Cookbook
Researcher Daphne van Helden explains that female academics experience less support than their male colleagues. She finds it important to continue to raise the topic, even though the university has already reached the goal of 25 percent female professors by 2025. “We see that the annual growth rate is declining. So I would like to emphasise that we need to remain critical and not assume that the growth will increase by itself.”
Also in EM TV: Reporter Julia asks students about their favourite female professors, Sabina admires the charcoal art of Rinus van de Velde and students make Vietnamese spring rolls.
