EM TV: ‘Education is not only about transferring information’
Lecturer Ana Uribe Sandoval discuss the future of education with Timo Zandvliet, student member of the University Council. According to Zandvliet, hybrid education offers the freedom and flexibility that students need. Uribe Sandoval, on the other hand, swears by offline education. “You can watch a lecture in bed at home, but that doesn’t give you the same experience as coming to the campus. There you can ask questions and discuss the topics with your fellow students.”
