Thursday in EM TV: The long delay of medical internships
The broadcast will be live on Thursday morning at 9 am and can be watched below, on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram. Afterwards, the broadcast can also be watched again.
Some medical students have been waiting for more than one and a half years: the start of their internships. The waiting time has increased considerably, partly due to corona. Students make swap deals and sometimes even pay money for a better starting moment. Our guest in this broadcast is Femke van de Zuidwind, chair of the national interest group De Geneeskundestudent. What impact do the long waiting times have on medical students? And what can be done to reduce waiting times? Van de Zuidwind will answer these questions. Presentation: Tessa Hofland.
