Thursday live: EM TV about landlord trouble
Holes in the floor, the heating is not working, the landlord suddenly increases the rent or terminates your permanent contract. Renting out rooms is subject to strict rules in the Netherlands, but not all students know what their rights are. In EM TV, Suzanne Schuitemaker of the Dutch Housing Association (Woonbond) discusses how to tackle issues with your landlord. Watch EM TV on Thursday to find out what your rights are as a tenant. Your host: Feba Sukmana.
This season, EM TV is broadcast every two weeks via Youtube, Facebook and this site. EM TV is EM’s weekly news update, live from the TV studio in the Polak Building. News, backgrounds, human interest, we keep you informed of everything that is going on at Erasmus University. Every two weeks on Thursday at 9.00 am live and afterwards replayable on this site. Presenters are Tessa Hofland and Feba Sukmana.
